Carla joined atai Life Sciences in 2021. 

Previously, Carla was the Payroll Manager at George Washington University Hospital in Washington, DC where she managed the day-to-day operations of the hospital to ensure compliance with applicable laws, payroll tax obligations and internal policies. 

Prior to that, she was the Global Payroll Manager for Pandora Jewelry Headquarters in Baltimore, MD where she managed both multi-state and international payroll for the company. She was responsible for designing and implementing procedures to meet payroll, business, and legal reporting requirements. 

Carla has over 20+ years of payroll experience with a strong background in HR and Benefits Administration.
