Holden Janssens, Ph.D. joined atai Life sciences in 2022

Previously, Holden was Director of In Vivo Pharmacology at Charles River Laboratories in South San Francisco where she led the CNS team.  She was a senior leader responsible for the scientific and business operations of the CNS group in South San Francisco and was involved in CNS-focused global directives across the CRL organization.

Prior to that, she worked at Stanford University, exploring the neuroinflammatory underpinnings of neurodegenerative disorders, including Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s disease.  Holden holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Michigan and a Ph.D. in Neuroscience from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
