Michael joined atai Life Sciences in 2022. Prior to joining atai, Michael gained significant experience at Bayer Pharmaceuticals as Chief-of-Staff & Head of Communications in Product Supply and as Head of Strategy for the Radiology Business.

Prior to that, he managed strategic projects in the medical devices and biotech sector as part of his role as Engagement Manager within McKinsey & Co.

Dr. Raven holds a bachelor’s degree in management from WHU in Vallendar and a biotech engineering Diploma from the Technical University in Berlin. He also graduated from the Berlin Doctoral Program in Economics and Management Science. In parallel to his studies, he co-founded two biotech start-ups.
